SAT: 1330 Female

SAT scores or GPA. You don't need both, only need one (but high in that 1 category). The essays are worthless, but interview seemed helpful.
SAT: 2380 Male
Admissions people are greatDec 16 2007Communications
Admissions people are great. Only thing is - they advertise that GW is very diverse, academically-oriented and "traditional" (as in, like other colleges). This is not true:
GW is gay central (good thing)
GW is made up of rich kids (not good if you're poor)
GW is a drug-addicted, nightlife-centric culture
There are approximately 3 black people, one of whom is biracial and my roommate.
SAT: 1270 Male
What I sent:Dec 13 2007Computer Science
What I sent:
High-school: > 3.6
SAT: > 1300
2 letters of recommendation from high school teachers, 1 from high school principle, 1 from successful company CEO whom I have done work for before, 1 from client who contracted me.

GWU is one of the leading universities in financial aid. Understand that though many complain of high tuition, their money goes to pay for the tuition of students who could otherwise not afford to study here. If you aim for financial aid, you can get into here with > 3.0 GPA and > 1200 SAT scores. If you are not interested in financial aid, you'll find that you can get into the Elliot School with > 2.0 GPA and > 900 SAT scores. Not sure of bare minimum requirements for the school of engineering.

Maintain goodNov 03 2007Business - Management and Administration
Maintain good GPA in highschool, especially your Junior and Senior year. They are looking for the top 10-15% of the class. Also, during the interview, show them your personality and very important. Tell them exactly why you want to attend and what specific programs that you are interested in that would help with your career plans. This shows them your intent and interest in the School.
ACT: 25 Female
